The “GEM Residences” luxury apartment, a joint venture project between Belleview Group & LTC Group held a topping out ceremony on 18th January 2024 and is expected to hand over the keys to home buyers in the next 6 to 8 months. On this special day, it marks a major milestone for everyone on The ‘Gem Residences” project. It signifies the groundwork being laid and the countless hours already poured into the building.
This event officiate by YB.Dato’ Seri Sundarajoo A/L Somu (Penang State Exco Member for Housing and Environment). He was once a developer and have served in this field for 37 years. Now as a state executive councilor, he know very well the difficulties faced by developer. Therefore, He said the government will continue to assist developers to ensure that projects can proceed smoothly and create more job opportunities, also implementing various plans to build more types of housing, such as low-cost housing, affordable housing and etc. Dato’ Sunny Ho Keong Chan, the Managing Director of Belleview Group, said that during the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic, all fields have suffered an unprecedented blow. Including the construction industry that was once shut down and construction had to be stopped.
He said that in the past four years, our country has entered a state of lockdown many times to prevent the spread of the virus, which has forced many housing projects to be temporarily shelved or postponed. We were able to overcome these challenges at this critical time mainly due to the unwavering and strong support of our business partners, contractors, bankers, consultants, valuers, real estate agency and last but not least the management and employees of Belleview Group & LTC Group. Giving us more confidence to overcome the difficulties.
